- Drâa valley: although the oued (river) Drâa, has its spring in the surroundings of Ourzazate, it flows underground until Agdz, where it irrigates the valley, helping growth of some fruit farming of dates and food crop.

- Ksaar and Kasbah (casbah): Ksaars and Kasbahs skattering over the valleys of Drâa, are traditional homes and residences, made in pisé and adobe, for pillars. This kind of constructions fits to the local climate and tends to be replaced by modern ones

The Ksaars belong to several families and the Kasbahs (casbahs) belong, originally, to a unique family.

- The pisé is a construction method that consists in building walls 50cm wide in rammed earth.

- The adobe is a sort of brick made of crude clay dried in the sun.
